LEARNING ENRICHMENT

Sometimes students require additional help, either in the form of extension programs or remedial assistance. We have comprehensive programs to help gifted and talented students, both within the classroom and through specialised teaching.

Our Learning enrichment department supplies additional remedial instruction where necessary. Staff comprised of specialists, teacher aides and volunteers provide a range of support (special needs, early intervention, support-a-reader, enrichment and extension) both inside and outside the normal classroom.

At all times our staff confer with parents so that understanding and cooperation among all parties provide the best chance for success for the students.

Our Learning Enrichment department is small and has finite resources. This department has a separate waiting list that is separate to the regular enrolments waiting list.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) section of the Department caters to the unique needs of overseas students for whom English is not their native language. ESL tuition is provided on a fee for service basis. This may be compulsory for some international students
